| Digital
format. Enhanced features. |
|
The
digital format of the documents in the JurisPacific database
enables us to add features that are not possible with paper
documents, like the ability to:
- Perform
full text searches across documents.
This is possible because behind the face of each digital
document is a layer of searchable text.
- Search
within the document using integrated browser search tools.
- Search
by category.
We've added digital meta-fields, or digital data tags, that
allow each document to be indexed by particular categories,
such as Document Type.
- Search
within meta-fields.
Because the meta-fields are themselves text fields, you
can perform searches within specific meta-fields.

Meta-Fields |
 |
|
 |
Digital
meta-fields are not visible on the documents you view
online. Instead, these meta-fields reside on a transparent
meta layer that is read by JurisPacific's searching utilities. |
|
| These
meta-fields allow you to perform focused searches across documents,
such as limiting your query to documents filed on a specific
date. And, with our Advanced Search tool, you enjoy the flexibility
of combining the focused searches of document meta-fields with
the full-text searching capability of document content.
